Experience a Trip is born from the passion for travel.

With Álvaro del Cid leading this project, a born traveler who has experienced the world with a backpack in which all dreams fit, you will find all the options you need to make of your next adventure an experience you’ll never forget.

His father was a cartographer, and Álvaro grew up among topographic charts and maps. As a child he listened to stories about adventures and beautiful places, and since then, he longed to go to these distant worlds one day.

Well, he did…He started traveling as a teenager; first to destinations within Guatemala, his native country, and then beyond the borders.

Over time he discovered that boundaries do not exist when you become a traveler.For Álvaro to travel is to discover with fascination other geographies, landscapes, nature, and cultures. Soon he founded Experience a Trip, focused mainly on collaborating with other travelers to find and live their own experiences and adventures.In Experience a Trip we have special programs so that your visits to these destinations generate unique and unforgettable moments and experiential experiences.
